(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm posting in this section because this is getting on my last f**king nerve. I have done every step about 20 times and no luck. I've spent the past three days on this. Here is exactly what I've done.

1. Replaced CA24.cer on PS3
2. Installed Charles
3. Replaced charles.config
4. Placed ps3-updatelist in C:/
5. Opened Charles.
6. Open PS3DNS and it says it thinks my IP is 5.73.70.170. Then I enter "n." Then I enter my actual IP address.
7. I change my Primary DNS on my PS3 to my PC's IP. Then Secondary to my Default Gateway (I have also tried 8.8.8.8.)
8. I Press "Sign In" and it tells me I need to update.

NOTE: I have disabled my McAfee Firewall as well as allowed Charles and PS3DNS through my Windows Firewall.

I did post two threads in the Questions section and received no help. The only reason I want PSN on 3.55 is because it is convenient. Otherwise, I would just use my 3.41 PS3.

This is what Charles looks like when I try to Sign In. I tried changing the "*" to fus and it doesn't make a difference. Plus, in recent tutorials, they don't tell you to change the "*".

Help would be greatly appreciated.

I figured you did, gotta try the easy part first :P. What worked for me was that I changed the Secondary DNS to 192.1.0.0 or something and then I restarted. I also used ****PSN v .3 and PS3DNS.

Yeah but the new version doesn't require PS3DNS I think. Until I run into problems I'll just keep using both.
