yea cant jailbreak 3.56 at the min and if u try installing a cfw over 3.56 it wont work and as for the modded gt5 u would only be able to get it on your ps3 via jailbreak or cfw

Yes, its kinda like jailbreak. Its just a normal FW but things are "unlocked" to run your homebrew applications.
For example a normal firmware has "allow_hdd_boot = false" and the cfw would have "allow_hdd_boot = true". Ofcourse its not that simple ITS AN EXAMPLE! If it only was that simple...
And for the exploit or hack for GT5, what do you exactly need? Unlocked cars or whut? Like Lee20 said, your ps3 has to have some sort of ftp or filemanager for the exploits to be put in the correct dir which means you need to have a CFW cuz normal FW doesnt allow to install homebrew.

im just wondering is there a way of getting these really hard trophies for gt5 and if there is does it have to be with using cfw, (as as far as hacks and game saves go from this site i have only used like the dl save file for games tht give you trophies)

You mean like a "trophy unlocker" ?
That would need CFW cuz you need to replace a .DAT file for the trophy's to unlock but i dont know about syncing cuz i didnt follow the whole "trophy unlocking app" scene. But one or another it would require CFW.
