so i had this problem but seems like no one mentioned it.

i decided to help you guys out.

when getting the charles-proxy-ssl-proxying-certificate copy and paste it into the desktop after this go to "start" and then type folder options and click. After this hit view and the click of "hide extensions for know file types" go back to the charles-proxy-ssl-proxying-certificate on the desktop and clear everything and paste this "CA24.cer" without quotes

this is important you see the file from Charles is a CRT

after this contiue with the normal tut and it should work

please no flamming or saying it doesnt work cuz clearly it does

Yes. Yes it is (no offence) but there are people who aren't that good with pc. Anyway I have hide extensions on by default charle is reconized by windows and this is the reason why it might not work
