Post: Need Help - HDD ?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have a few pirated games on my PS3 hard drive but no longer have custom firmware so these are of no use to me , then I received email from Sony telling me to remove them from my HDD or they will ban my console. How will I delete these ? Will going into recovery mode and restoring work , or am I better to remove the hard drive and and delete the contents on with my pc and then reinstall the ps3 firmware ?

Thanks in advance

Just format the drive in the PS3 and you will be fine but back up you saves.

True. Was not sure if you had an enclosure handy. Hope it all works out for you.
