Are you looking for a possible alternative to FTP server, where you don't have to have both connected on the same network, but rather to eachother?

If you can get both PC and PS3 on same network you can just use blackb0x FTP server on PS3, and then filezilla FTP client on your PC and you can see most areas of the PS3 HDD.

yes ik im on 3.56 and was on a 3.55 cfw but im looking for a program where it dosnt matter what fm your on! you could just connect to it and acces the hdd!?!?!?

Unfortunately thats not possible since you're on 3.56, and it won't be until someone creates a working 3.56 CFW.
