Hi guys i got an idea i not sure if it work becouse i didnt try it

ok

you need 2 usb flash drive

Get Ur FLASH Put The 3.56 ofw update
and the othor usb put 3.55 ofw

Go To The PS3 PUT THE FLASH THATS WITH 3.56 OFW Then Settings Then System Update

Then Go To Update via storage Media

Then It Will Says We Have Found 3.56 Now Fast Remove the usb And Put The Usb with 3.55 ofw Then Download

And Now U Are 3.55

Can Any One Try It Claps

Maybe it would be possible to install 3.55 on a HDD by using a ps3 that hasn't updated to 3.56. And then use the tutorial thats somewhere on this forum to change some IDs to make that HDD work on your own ps3

There was a huge thread on this, and many people tried it.... I think there is something small that we are missing. Im willing to bet it has to do with the system restore thing...
