The only thing I get is that "The hard disk's file system is corrupted and will be restored". My PS3 is on that right now.

Well, you're wrong. This method is very old, and countless members of this site tried it. Original thread was made by Envy_Astro. But don't even bother yourself. This will not work. If you will brick somehow, you will just stuck in service mode.

I thought service mode was in firmwares less than 3.56??

Sorry my bad. I'm still on OFW 3.56 v1, they deleted service mode in OFW 3.56 v2 (they made it because some people got stucked). Just don't bother with this method, it was tested by maaaaany people. Success rate is like 0,5 %. :/ Also, OFW 3.56 is almost unbrickable. There is no one that made autobricker for 3.56 (which was easy to make for 3.55). We all just have to wait (sooner for downgrade method than 3.56 CFW I suppose).
