(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys just a quick tut for people struggling where the put your custom coldboot sounds or logos onto your ps3.

1) Download the coldboot file. * Heres an example of an Xbox 360 coldboot logo posted by another member.

2)Extract the file/s to your memory stick/usb flash sitck.

3)On your ps3 run AsBestOS and mount the flash. *If you dont have this pkg download here...

4)Now go to Comgenie file manager (or FTP) and there you will have another folder saying rwdev_flash.

5)Go into rwdev_flash>vsh>recources and insert the coldboot file/s into there.

6) Restart your PS3 and Enjoy the Custom BOOT! :p

Hey. i just used the 'coldboot installer' to install the pic and sound.
Its a .pkg and its really easy to use.

I'm going to sound like a n00b.

but if I take this picture You must login or register to view this content.

change it from a what-ever it is to a .raf, can I just install it and have it work? Awesome face

Yes, I belive that will work once converted to a .raf file and renamed to coldboot.raf.

Not too sure though, as im not the graphics sort of person :dunce: just use in use of other and install them Cool Man (aka Tustin)

Yeah I think. You will need an application called cold boot creator, posted the other day on here. And then paste that image in replace of the current new_logo.dds file then package it into a .raf file.
