I've heard downgrading rarely works, but to brick it, pull the plug while something is installing.

Try restoring from a corrupted backup and unplug your PS3 at about 50%. I'm not going to recommend you downgrading your PS3 for any reason. Somethings are just more important. Bricking to downgrade is not a smart or safe choice.

You cannot sign programs or updates for 3.56 so there is no autobricker. You have to try forcing a brick until it happens.
