TUTORIAL :

1-download and extract the cybershunk 3.56 spoof from

2-copy one of the pkg's (upon to your cfw) to the root of a USB device

3-power on your ps3 , go to *install package files and install the 3.56 spoof

4-you will see it under *install package files click X button on it and you will enter the app

5-then a light red colour screen will appear written on it press X to install or press O to uninstall

6-press X to install and then wait for some seconds till it says installed successfully

7-then click on your controller the PS button to quit from the app

8-then after some seconds a red screen will appear says error contact your support team or something like that with different languages , then click on your controller the PS button and turn off your ps3

9-turn on again your ps3 and go to (system settings) then to (system information) now your system software is version 3.56

this may not work with f*ckpsn
uninstall is the same steps like the above one's but instead of install 3.56 spoof -- uninstall 3.56 spoof

No this appp does nothing like that AT ALL! Sony still gets your ps3 logs and they can still see everything you are doing... This just changes the version in Stettings>system> To 3.56 because as the creator stated he created it after the "Kakaroto scare" so to make sure his ps3 wouldent update to 3.56 he created this app...

soooo...glad i didnt update to 3.56 i dnt fancie brickin my ps3 jus to downgrade

ok i have a problem i did this last night and my ps3 froze after it spoofed then i let it sit for ten mins then i shut it off now i turned it on today and it wont display anything and my controller wont sync how to i fix this

whats that got to do with anything? this dose not let u sign in or play games online even though ur spoofed to 3.56, it was made as a protection for silent upgraids by sony wich dont even exist

if u want to sign in and play games online use f*kpsn not this!

have you tryed recovery mode?

i did it wont go into it.... i hold the power button until it turns on then off then hold it again until two beeps but i get nothin

that dont sound good mate, have u got an e3cardreader or a jailbreak dongle you can upgraide?
you need to use the downgraid files, use the dongle to put it into service mode then a usb with 3.55fw or lower on and the self files

WAIT ok now i changed my av cable and tried that and i get the menu what should i do? will i beable to keep everything so i dont have to do it all over?

yes just select restore file system that will fix it and wont format the hdd
