(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); so in my haste i split the large 9 gig file in kz3 to give me 3 >4 gig files. ive copied to ex hdd and int hdd, both times the games fails with save error, and eventually gets black screen after a quick cinematic scene, so ive read if i had just ftp'd the uncut 9 gig file, the game would work properly, ive tried to use the PS3 Merge program, but it doesnt find/recognise my split files, they dont have the .666xx extension ive read about.... so how can i merge these 3 files back into one...
i also tried copy them with comgenies awe fm..i copied to same directory thinking they would merge, this didnt work

any help appreciated

This was happening to me at first also just split the 9gb and copy the split files of the 9gb file to the ps3 or copy it to an external HDD (if u have one) then to the ps3.

Hey Consaw, if you remember a few days back I had this same issue...but since then I have found the right combination....To split the file on your PC side use PS3Splitter....once you have the files broken up and moved to your external, use multiMAN to transfer from external to internal....multiMAN will recognize the split file extensions from that particular program and merge them in your /GAMES/ folder...works like a charm.

just copy to internal hard drive and not external if thats what you was doing.
copy to games folder internal only,split games dont work on external coz of the fat 32 and only allowing 4 gb on the external.
