(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I just had an idea that I was going to pursue here shortly. I understand thoroughly about the while 3.56 rage and how sony ****ed us over n all that... anyways... heres my idea.

I've built 6 Playstations to date, mine included, 1 from the ground up. I was thinking... what if i just built a playstation, that was at an earlier firmware? would I still be able to do jailbreaking? Or has sony really messed that up for everyone?

I'm honestly considering opening up an ebay shop for custom playstations to those who have/accidently updated to this shit firmware.

Heres something to chew on.

*Chassis customized if wanted (make it more YOU)
*cheaper prices than retail
*jailbreakable firmwares
*Installed heatsinks where overheating occur (no YLOD)
*Warrentees **
*Free tech support

Any supporters?

** If yours has hardware issues in the first 3 months of ownership, you get my playstation free on me. (thorough checking will be required by me before hand)

I may not be a hacker, but I am a builder/modder I can support those who wish to find better uses for their playstation in a modest form of giving back to them what is/was good.

ANY SUPPORTERS?

i know some on computers but if we wanted to go to a lower firmware we could reflash the FW by connecting our 3.56 nand to our computer and run a program that allows us to reflash the nand & cpu but you would need the data on another nand that is on 3.55 or lower to downgrade the 3.56 also we would need the data from the cpu 3.55 or lower since the nand and the cpu data have to match up(just my thought)

Great idea!
But from the ground up? That is very difficult but if you take out the time to single-handly
do this, good luck Smile

Wouldn't adding a heat sink void warranty?

i haven't really thought of making a thread since it would require a lot of time and skill in taking apart a ps3 ik that alot of ppl don't want to take it apart since it voids their warranty and now we just have the easy way of putting the usb in with the downgrade
