When you update to OFW3.56 your firmware changes so everything that was signed for 3.55 wont work it need to be signed with 3.56 keys

There you have a proper answer on why it will not work.

and if you where smart enough you would know this, as otherwise all homebrew on your ps3 would still work no?
No ok, cause the update deleted it, but you should be able to install the pkg via the proxy trick...

I'm not sure if anyone other than geohot knows how to run .pkg's on all firmwares but the officially signed .pkg's that sony sign are dynamic therefore are accepted on every firmware. Although with graf_chokolo releasing his hypervisor bible ( link You must login or register to view this content. ) someone might be able to find something interesting, but for the time being it's impossible .

ok i understand that but like i sed early if we can figure out how legit psn games work on any firmware surly u could use this to make backup mangers for 3.56 because u would nt need to sign them
