Basically, from what i can gather from the articles, we need a way to obtain the public, ERK and RIV keys for spkg_hdr files which can only be decrypted according to rms. With that in hand, we are getting closer to a fully working 3.56 CFW and possibly makes an easy route to future version of CFWs.

But wait, what about Sony’s scare tactics? After the lawsuit has been started by Sony last month, they have created several ridiculous events in the process of scaring away the PS3 developers. The latest victim is graf_chokolo, where his You must login or register to view this content. as well as You must login or register to view this content..

Well, the outcome to this is pretty good, we have seen some notable devs staying away from any PS3 work. First, the iPhone guy who brings peek/poke to the PS3 CFW, You must login or register to view this content. and then the outspoken dev, You must login or register to view this content. who want to stay behind the scene.

So, that leave us with a funny question.

3.56+ CFW, will it be released?

Nothing is unhackable, but as they are saying 3.60 is coming, I believe the effort is not worth and wait for it and then act. Eitherway all will be defined (Hopefully) in March the 11th with GeoHotz trial.

well nothing is unhackable. just hard as heII to hack. why don't we go to sony. find one of their coders, and bribe him. lol jk. but still no matter how hard it is, nothing is unhackable.

i know it took you a few minutes to set up this thread, so Thank you for taking your time, and making it look more understandable for the rest of us, that's all i'm trying to do, and it's starting to catch on from some of the "Thread Starters" in this section Claps

On Topic:

i have 2 PS3's one's CFW: Kmeaw 3.55 and the other is 3.56 for PSN so i'll think i'll wait until 3.60 OFW and see what come of it first.
