(8002920A). so if i try to go into campaign it says that, i cant save anything on anygames, games that require online passes "DEAD SPACE 2, NHL 11, MADDEN 11, FIFA 11" etc wont work because it cant loa any data so it doesnt know i purchased the online passes, i use kmaew 3.55 cfw

Here's the general procedure :

1. Turn off PlayStation 3.
2. Hold the power button down; the system will turn on and turn off once again.
3. Once the System has been shutdown, re-press you finger until you hear 2 consecutive beeps
4. When you hear the 2 beeps take finger off power button.
5. You will be prompted to plug in your controller via USB and then hit the PS button
6. The Recovery menu will pop up.
7. Choose to 'Restore File System' and follow the process through.

Also, if the 'Restore File System' option doesn't work, try the same procedure but this time choose 'Rebuild Database'.

Another option:
find your save game data at youre ps3 and delete it

that would delete everything. i cant delete everything on my ps3.

Thats the only fix for that error code, so its up 2 ya

lol...ummmm, you're just always kick ass with the answers. Simple, and easy to follow. I know this is the wrong section, but I've posted a thread in the MW2 section about my problem. I can't log onto MW2. It won't connect to the servers. There's no errors, and I sign in to PSN with no problem. I even created another account to see if that would work, and nada. When I try to go into multiplayer, you know it says 'connecting to servers' and blah blah blah? It like...just keeps saying it's connecting, and won't connect. I've rerouted my Ethernet cable, and reset my router. Wtf is wrong with it?

happens to the best of us right now it does it on my legit account others sign in fine usually after a day or so it goes away i know this doest help much but uplug your modem for about a hour also if you are wireless try running straight wire to the ps3 if this fails delete your user with problem off of the system
go and sign up for network
use existing account and resign in to your account
now turn off the ps3 and reboot
if this doesnt work it should internally reset itself in a day or 2

Thanks brah. Yeah I think I remember it doing this a while back, but I just kept backing out, and after about 3 or 4 tries of going to the Main Menu, and then going back into multiplayer, it was alright. But not this time. I've done the creating a new user thing, and nothing. I've done the unplugging my Ethernet cable, and trying wireless too. I'm just gonna unplug my power cord from my modem, and see how that pans out. Appreciate your help. =)
