(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I know there are countless ways to get online now but the more the better Smile

Many users are reporting less issues with this version and it seems to work perfectly for most Smile

A user called micr0shaft aka PumpleX over at psxscene has created a modded version of ****psn 0.5.

Quoted from micr0shaft:
This version resolves the IP address of auth.np.ac.playstation.net in case this is changed by $0ny (If it is unable to resolve the domain name the default 199.108.4.73 will be used)

It also checks to see if the above IP address is reachable on port 443 and notifies you on success or failure.

Identifies and displays your computers internal IP address (If it is unable to detect your LAN IP it will default to 0.0.0.0)

And has a nice colourful layout Smile

Installation:

1. Install dev_blind.pkg and Comgenies Awesome Filemanager on your ps3
2. Run Dev_blind and create the mount point for the flash
3. Then run Comgenies Awesome Filemanager
4. Go to / dev_blind / data / cert
7. Replace CA27.cer that i supply with the one in / dev_blind/data/cert/CA27.cer
8. Then configure the primary DNS server on your PS3 to the IP address of your PC
9. Configure the secondary DNS server on your PS3 to your router IP or one of youre ISP's dns servers
10. Reboot your PS3
11. Start modded version of F*ckPsn v0.5
12. Enjoy the PSN

when you look for the ip address and the dns server in command prompt there should be the ip address 192.168.1.***. That's the computer's ip address the one you should put on the ps3's primary.

And for the secondary one there should be 2 dns servers put the 2nd one on the ps3. NOT the ip address of the router.

That's what i did and it worked. Hope this helps

okill try it one more time bro nd ya i hope it works to cuz its pissin me off but thanks for the info

Just came from F**PSN0.4 to this and replaced cer24 to cer27 and it all works.

One thing different though is I keep getting something like this before and after I log into PSN:

[DNS] RECEIVING FROM 192.168.0.3:65447
[DNS] DONE WITH 192.168.0.3:65447
[DNS] RECEIVING FROM 192.168.0.3:65446
[DNS] DONE WITH 192.168.0.3:65446
[DNS] RECEIVING FROM 192.168.0.3:65445
[DNS] DONE WITH 192.168.0.3:65445
[DNS] RECEIVING FROM 192.168.0.3:65444
[DNS] DONE WITH 192.168.0.3:65444
[DNS] RECEIVING FROM 192.168.0.3:65443
[DNS] DONE WITH 192.168.0.3:65443

This was not present with F**PSN 0.4 is it normal? What is it actually doing?

Seriously, there´s absolutely NO need for he IP adress to be something like 192.168.1.x. How do u guys even think of that? No offence to you bro, i´ve seen this on A LOT of other threaths. I see you are just trying to help.

By the way, my computers INTERNAL IP is 10.0.0.14x if you want a screenshot i can do one.
