I stop for now hereby support and further descriptions of the topic, because I notice that it mostly lacks even the basics of your network and the handling of OSX / Linux. The thread was meant for those who already understand the basic incoming mail.

Caution - make after installing ruby no update of ruby in Cydia!
is packet-ruby unusable and you have to start from scratch

for problem solving through a linux / unix / osx-nerd in this respect we are all grateful

Prerequisite: jailbroken and SSH & conveniently installed or mobile terminal and iFile

1. You must login or register to view this content. download and install on the iphone

ssh connection as root to the iphone:

2. gem update - system enter
because the version should be aktulisiert

3. gem install rubydns rainbow

iPhone: ~ root # gem install rubydns rainbow Fetching: rexec 1.1.12.gem (100%) Fetching: rubydns-0.1.8.gem (100%) Successfully installed rexec-1.1.12-0.1.8 Successfully installed rubydns Fetching : rainbow-1.1.1.gem (100%) 1.1.1 Successfully installed rainbow-3 gems installed Installing ri documentation for rexec-1.1.12 ... Installing ri documentation for rubydns-0.1.8 ... Installing ri documentation for rainbow-1.1.1 ... Updating class cache with 1520 classes ... Installing RDoc documentation for rexec-1.1.12 ... Installing RDoc documentation for rubydns-0.1.8 ... Installing RDoc documentation for rainbow-1.1.1 ...

4. https://www.mediafire.com/?61d1f39re8h3934]https://gitorious.org/****psn/fu...all/master download and unzip it on the iphone

5. cd / ****psn enter (I have the folder "****psn-****psn" only in "****psn renamed and copied directly as root)

6. . / ****Psn.rb

IPhone: / root # ****psn / ****PSN ****Psn.rb v0.5 by drizzt <[email protected]> - You must login or register to view this content. targetAddress: 199.108.4.73:443 *** HTTPS listening on 0.0 .0.0:443 *** *** HTTP listening on 0.0.0.0:80 DNS listening on 0.0.0.0:53

------------------------
will now be on the Playse still the primary dns entered the ip of the iphone

based on my specific router configuration is as open-source firmware with dnsmasq.
with the settings as ****psn on the pc it does not seem to run. This name resolution as soon as I remove the router, it gets:

dhcp / dns:
address = / feu01.ps3.update.playstation.net/192.168.111.87
address = / auth.np.ac.playstation.net/192.168.111.87

Port forwarding:
On Both 80 80 192.168.111.87
On Both 443 443 192.168.111.87

192.168.111.87 = IP of my iphones

here you have to test yourself something. I find it strange that ****psn not behave the same way as under osx or windows.

and standby should be prevented ****psn long as you need.

for launch in the next step only needed about 5 and 6 mobile terminal on the iphone

LOGIN as root

------------------------

End the script with killall -9 ruby
this should be executed if an error message comes that it addresses is already full.
(Or stop to perform a reboot)

You must login or register to view this content.

I have the ****psn folders copied directly present in root.

I'd tried this, but I can't download the iPhone modded firmware on my computer, so I can't test it :( but I use data transfer, so this isn't mandatory for me. O well

I saw this thread before he edited it, and the first thing I saw was this was from a German site, he didn't have source (why would he), but he did give credit.
