(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey, lately i noticed i couldn't run dvd's on my ps3. It's firmware is 3,55 Waninkoko. It runs games smoothly, but when it comes to movies, dvds it doesen't.

I haven't tried running blueray movies yet, but i have a guess on it will work. I am going to update, if i can make this work again.

P.S its a 250GB Slim model.

Its not your FW. its probably the eye that reads the disk. there are 2 im pretty sure. 1 for bluray and 1 for the rest

if i remember correctly, the first gen bc 60g 80g and the older spiderman 40gig ps3s had one laser that read both games and dvds, the most recent phats, 40gig and non bc 80 gig and also slims now have 2 lasers, one for bluray and one for cd dvd
