(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey, lately i noticed i couldn't run dvd's on my ps3. It's firmware is 3,55 Waninkoko. It runs games smoothly, but when it comes to movies, dvds it doesen't.

I haven't tried running blueray movies yet, but i have a guess on it will work. I am going to update, if i can make this work again.

P.S its a 250GB Slim model.

get a dvd player and if ur on cfw id stay on cfw

u will regret it when u update

or transfer your films over ftp to your ps3 or download your films

i never watch dvd's from disk on ps3 i jus download movies and transfer em over

ime on kneaw cfw 3.55 and dvd works perfect on mine so if i were you ide reinstall the ofw 3.55 then once you have done that install kneaw 3.55 cfw but thats just my opinion

I have a 3,41 PS3, and i really want to get online, so i think of might updating the 3.55.

It's for sure something wrong with my ps3, since it canæt run from disc...? don't u think? I think of might sending it in where i bought it, and get a new one.

update to kmeow thats wot im on never used dvd's in my ps3 at all
and then use ps3dns and charles to get online

Where do you transfer your movies to? And does it run downloaded blueray moveis?

yea its runs downloaded movies i use the media server thats in the ps3 to trnasfer movies

Isn't the bypasses for getting online on 3,55 blocked??? + Isn't it easy to get banned?

u need to put your movies in your public folder on your pc and then turn media server on in network settings and your ps3 should find your pc and then if u put the files in the right folder u should c your films there and then just copy them


and yes it can play downloaded bluray movies

no im online on 3.55 using bypass to get past the 3.56 update and sign into psn

as for getting banned ive not been banned yet

im on kmeaw 3.55 and mine plays blu ray and dvds no problems
