(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); well i was on the 3.55 GeohHot CFW i turned my ps3 on and its come up firmware cannot be loaded enter a firmware 3.56 or higher? i dont wana upgrade anyway of stopping on 3.55 and not upgrading?

Nah My Whole Ps3 is ok i have another hardrive thats on 3.56 and works fine just wanted to know if you knew a way or getting that hardrive up and working again :( i suppose not . and i aint been bypassing i just wanted to turn the hardrive on for the 1st time since the 3.56 out and this message came up :L so i suppose no method to stop this from happening?

nah i know for defo its nt i stick my 3.56 hardrive in and works fine Smile

Ok so for what you have said I think I know what is going on but this is based on some speculation as I am not sure on what you have done on the lead up to this.

What I suspect is:

You have the 1 PS3 and were on OFW 3.55 then went to CFW 3.55.
You swapped out the HDD and installed OFW 3.56 (this installs on the HDD AND the NAND)
You put the CFW 3.55 HDD back into your PS3 and the firmware does not match the NAND firware so is corrupt.

This would make sense as your NAND has OFW 3.56 and the HDD has CFW 3.55.

Does this sound about right?

The only way it would be asking you for OFW 3.56 is if you had installed it on the PS3, The 3.56 spoof is saying thats what FW you should be on.. or... Sony are up to some dirty tricks.
