Yes its true but you also have to know that for people that don't have hdtv's like me you cannot play some (eur) game on your ps3 because the pal region request to have a higher video resolution

You can im just saying dlc isn't region free like the disc is. I have accounts from all regions on my ps3 for just such occasions but if your downloading games probably downloading dlc too so its sometimes hard to find that way without the specific game id.
