Post: How to delete backed up games

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I updated to 3.56 and deleted everything to do with custom firmware but my backed up games are apprently still taking space any help? im trying to avoid formatting lol

I dont know if this will work its an idea i just thought of but backup you ps3 then once thats done look in the file it makes on whatever you backed it onto then try deleting the games off there format your ps3 and reload your backup.

In theory it should work, but once again im not a hacker nor do I no much about it but it might just work.

do a hdd reformat is the only true way to delete all files that would be left behind taking space
keep in mind write down ur account info and put the game saves u want on a usb then just reformat and log onto your account then redownload all dlc u lost

Get your PS3 into the recovery menu, then go to rebuild file system, then your backuped games will show up in the games coloumn as a corrupted file icon, just delete all of those.

you have no chance on 3.56 on 3.55 yes you can,but the only way now it to format.

DLC isn't stored in that folder, so no.
