Can’t trickshot me!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Recently I updated to OFW 3.56 but I forgot to restore the original CA24. Now when I try to sign in PSN I get DNS error many times. I am still able to play online but, it is more difficult now because of the random DNS errors...
As you know there is no way (FTP, downgrade or other method) on 3.56 to replace the modded certificate with the original one.
Is there anything I can do now about this?

Shouldn't the system update replace the modded CA24.cer?
Must be your router..

Both are related to a DNS problem. And some say the first code is related to hardware.

This is what you should try and should hopefully fix it.

First Power down your ps3. Shut your modem down, then your router. Unplug the router and modem from the power.
Connect the modem to it's power and let it start up.
Connect the router to it's power and let that start up too.
Your PC should have internet again, check that first.

If your pc is connected again, do this.
Click start - run and type CMD there. If you have win vista/7 click start and type cmd in the typebox and press enter.

You are now presented with a Command box.
Type:
    ipconfig /all

You should see a output like this:

            Verbindingsspec. DNS-achtervoegsel: private
Beschrijving . . . . . . . . . . .:
NVIDIA nForce 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet
Fysiek adres. . . . . . . . . . . : 00-13-private
DHCP ingeshakeld. . . . . . . . . : ja
Autom. configuratie ingeschakeld. : ja
IP-adres. . . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.104
Subnetmasker. . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Standaardgateway. . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1
DHCP-server . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1
DNS-servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1

Now turn on your PS3 and go to internet settings.
Select wired or wireless and enter the SSID and pass if you use wireless.

When you are on the setup page for your IP address select MANUAL.

You will get a page with the following:

IP Address 0.0.0.0
Subnet Mask 0.0.0.0
Default Router 0.0.0.0
Primary DNS 0.0.0.0
Secondary DNS 0.0.0.0

Use the things of the CMD box for your ps3 so it becomes:

IP Address 192.168.0.105
Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
Default Router 192.168.0.1
Primary DNS 192.168.0.1
Secondary DNS 0.0.0.0

Note the IP address, its 1 digit up. 104 on pc, 105 on ps3. Your ip might be 192.168.0.3 then make your ps3 192.168.0.4.

The Default Router on your ps3 is the Default Gateway in the CMD box on your PC.
As you can see i dont have a secondary DNS, but maybe you might have it, so enter that too if you want, but its not needed.

Use this for the next couple of pages:
    DHCP - Do Not Set
DNS Settings - Automatic
MTU - Automatic
Proxy Server - Do Not Use
UPnP - Enable

Now try again if it works and let me know.

Re-install 3.56 official firmware.
