well i know this is very unsafe but in order to downgrade i need to brick my ps3, how can i do this?, i heard you can do a restore then pull plug but what restore and full or quick restore? and how long into the restore should i do it? or is there any other methods (please dont post childish things like throw it out a window so the top comes of then get a cow to poo on it then close the lid and put call of crappy ops inside ) :black::hitman:

There is no proven method that will actually get this to happen and most people have abandoned the idea of bricking to downgrade. You have a one in a million chance to brick your system, they are built to not brick so bricking it wont be simple.

I advise you not to try to force your ps3 system to brick, you won't get far and may break your system rather then brick it this way.

You trying to downgrade from 3.55 or 3.56? If it's 3.56 then I'd just sell your PS3 on ebay and buy one thats on a lower firmware xD

im on 3.56 trying to downgrade to 3.55 i aready had a 3.55 jailbreak then updated all my jb stuff was on 3.56 but i couldnt use it

I can tell you with 100% confidence that the method you are using to downgrade the PS3 WILL NOT work. If anything you will do more harm than good to your PS3.

There is currently NO 3.56 downgrade method. If there was a way to downgrade, then you would have seen the news plastered all over the front pages of PS3 news sites.
