the problem is, i dont know how!! i tried to use XMBoot because it claims to do just that but i have no idea how to use it.

and i've also heard that if u CAN get shortcuts on there, you cant update a game via PATCH because the shortcuts wont work anymore.

im thinking of useing ebootfix.exe that came with multiman. it creats a pkg just fine but says to not update the game. will it still work if i do??


is there a SIMPLE way to do this? without the eboot or any of that garbage, just a SIMPLE shortcut!!!!!

the shortcut doesnt even have to start the game. as long as it just mounts it and goes back to the XMB and then i click on the BD game to accually launch.

(and i would also like if the shortcut has its original sound/picture/background.)

Use MultiMans/Deans Eboot Fix program for windows. it allowes yo to play games directly from the XMB without the need for multiman

i tried that but only some games work. and the ones that do have wierd problems like no sound, etc. most of them say, "game data is currupted. please delete it to continue" and i dont even have any content on my console for that game.

and it stops working after u update the game.

other than that i dont know.... Sorry

Its a gamble. It has to be a DIRECTBOOT game. And then even some doesnt work lol...
