(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I found out how to check the firmware "It already is the latest version of the system software installed" can handle. For this you need the PS3 Proxy Server GUI for Windows and the firmware version 3.56 (V1). This can install it just like any other update.

Downloads:

3.56 V1 You must login or register to view this content.
Ps3 proxy server please use Google!

Here a little guide:

▪ Start the Ps3 proxy server on the pc.
▪ Enter Proxy Settings in the ip of your pc's a (run-> cmd-> ipconfig) and click on "Ps3 Mode
▪ The same you do now on the PS3 under Network Settings -> Proxy Server.
▪ Now start the proxy server and go for the PS3 to "update via internet"
▪ Now go back to the PC and look in the log after a link is complying with the "PS3UPDAT.PUP.
▪ this you must now copy and enter field under "Replace Files" on the left.
▪ Now you click in the right box and pick your choice of a firmware.
▪ Now you go back to the PS3 and click on "update via internet".
▪ Now you should be able to see the desired firmware installation.
▪ Many congratulations you have bypassed the firmware check!

As for me?

Well, it is possible that the firmware installation for example of 3.55 or even directly from 1.10 to 3.56 start. And no, unfortunately, does not install, it will copy to the hard drive where the error "The file format is not supported" message.

For developers, this could very well be interesting.

Sry for my bad english!

Mfg. and a thank you would be nice!
