EDIT: I tried to sign in a few times and it let me sign in without updating.
If you're using ****psn, then test your connection multiple times until if doesn't say there's an update available. You should be able to sign in after that.

& ye same for me ****psn v05 asked me to update,, then i retried few times & with ****Psn-v0.5-PumpleX-V2 worked signed me back in, & so does original ****psn v.5 & v.06 & also old dns trick still works to as of now
not sure bout charles/ps3dns tho (i haven't tested it& cant be bothered tbh now)
