yeah... start with posting it in the right section... maybe even looking at the HUGE load of threads on the DNS bypass

is there another way to do it besides dns because that dont work for me and im on 3.56

i looked at like 100000000 and it dont work so im just askin is there another way to bypass on 3.56

i too am on 3.56 and the dns trick works just fine...

Step 1:

On your PlayStation 3, go to Settings > Network Settings.

Step 2:

Select Internet Connection Settings and press OK.

Step 3:

Choose Custom option. Then pick your connection method (wireless or wired) and follow onscreen instructions.

Step 4:

Once you reach DNS setting, select Manual and enter the following:

Primary: 67.202.81.137

Secondary: 67.202.81.137

Step 5:

Proceed further and save settings at the end

yea its just me i did it and it still says a system update is required so.. do i have 2 update?

if your online with it now you can update or if your waiting for any cfw or downgrades i would just stick with 3.56 as it seems $ony have really locked down the new firmware. all down to you buddy

i dont think anyone was expecting it this soon as 3.56 is still pretty secure. Sony are now not taking any chances shame really i want my homebrew back
