I googled but it just doesn't provide the answer I'm looking for. Trust me google search is the first thing I do. I wouldn't be here if I wasn't lost. By the way, I don't have backup games at all. I'm planning to buy the retail disc of homefront so will this eboot stuff still work with the retail disc?

Wow!!! hours later and nobody is going to help me with something that I bet hundreds of people have already done hundreds of time. **** it I'll go to another forum.
People do sleep you know... And -repping me doesnt help either.
Anyway, since im not a douche...
If you are on OFFICIAL 3.55 there's no way.
If you are on CUSTOM 3.55 you can install a backup manager to launch your games and then there is no need to self-edit the EBOOT.
Modifying the EBOOT and PARAM.sfo file are only to "launch" the game from the XMB screen (the main one where you always launch your game).
If you are on OFFICIAL 3.56, your fcked.
If you are on OFFICIAL 3.60, your even more fcked.
Let me know which firmware you use and i can help you further.
