For Eg, PS2 Pirated games downloaded off torrents..

Im currently on v.55 with Waninkoko's PS3 Custom Firmware 3.55 installed to my system.

Install multiman or preferred backup maneger(can find in the stickied ultra thread) and find a game (ps3iso) then FTP or file transfere with multi mans file managers. To get the FTP look in the ultra thread or google black box 1.2 then install winscp on your pc to connect.

Does the latest multiman replace backup manager, so I only need 1 of them.

Use ftp and put the game in dev_hdd0/GAMES. Wait for it to finish transferring than go on your ps3 and use a file manage and you will see the game in the list.

so if i back up my Killzone 3 game, extract the .iso, and use my FTP server to input the .iso file into dev_hdd0/Games/ and do not have multiman, you say it would work? i doubt it, please explain if that is not what you mean.
