(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I get I still have a slim 250 gig PS3, but why can't I just do a factory reset, and then install a 3.55? It's ****ing 2 or 3 years old. It's old as crap. By me installing it back to factory, does it NOT place the firmware on its original firmware?

Nope, all it does is puts you back to the factory settings and delete all extra software, but not the firmware.Sony would never make it so you can freely downgrade:p

Need help, PM me.
You could tear it apart and get rid of the firmware that way. I know there is a card with the firmware on it, I just don't know where lol good luck.
