(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); im trying to data transfer from my other 3.55 ps3 to my 3.60 ps3 but every time i try it says,ethernet cable is not connected or the other ps3 system is not turned on. My ethernet cable is cablconnected ans my other ps3 is turned on PLEASE HELP

why you use an ethernet cable...you dont have external hard disk for the data backup operation?

try switching cables
all of my cables tend to die before their expiration date :p
but i dont use them that much any way just use a thumb drive or usb external hard disk

this is common eveytime i transfer it does this too! what you do is get your 3.55 ready and make sure there is a ether net cord in keep other ps3 off go through the steps to transfer and push ok wait like 30 sec it will tell you that the cable is not in then push ok now leave that one on the screen that it puts you at step 2 turn on other ps3 3.60 and start the transfer process it will take you to the point where it says start b 4 you start go back to other ps3 (3.55) and hit start it will tell you to make sure eveything is connected and at this point go to other screen (3.60) and hit start wait about 10-30 sec and it will tell you that some stuff is not able to be transfered and you just hit contiue and then it will ask you to conferm hit ok and it will start .

It's just a bug it happen a ton of times before it actuall does work... It's really annoying and it will take quite some time but just keep trying...
