Post: Firmware Question

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Dear hacking community,
I've never known anything about all these jailbreaks and custom firmwares up until very recently. Hence the reason of me being unaware and upgrading my PS3 system to v3.60 OFW.:(
So, here is the question... If I format my PS3 now, will it delete the v3.60 OFW? and if so, will I be able to somehow get it to be v3.55 CFW?

Thanks for your time reading this post and it will be greatly appreciated if I got an answer. Oh, and thanks in advance.Smile

Nobody is like me
Sorry nope the firmware is stored on the NOR or NAND (depending if its fat or slim, slim being Nor) and the format only formats the Harddrive
