I will tell you a secret, if you research this, use it at your own risk. Im not responsible for any legal trouble or hardware failure you get.

The modem you get from your ISP are set to a certain IP address, which is the one from your isp. when you turn on your modem, it starts downloading a image file from its TFTP server. This file contains your info like your max download speed - upload speed, billing stuff, phone records(if its combined) etc. The trick is to intercept that image, decrypt it, reconfigure it, encrypt it and send it back.
If you remove the cap, hell, you can have 1000gb if you'd like (and if your hardware can handle it :P). Its highly risky though. Ive enjoyed 8 months running on 800MB p/s while paying for 10 MB.

Then i got a court order etc blabla and a fine of 12 grand. So watch out with this.

Maybe he used that method to get this speed, maybe a network transfer...

Yeah they wanted to give me jail time too but i said it was my fault etc and i messed up so they told me "your gonna pay for the internet you used with court costs" so yah, around 12.000 lol.

You could try to get the image file and look intro it, just for fun... Thats not illegal :P
You'll be amazed with what you will see in there

Yeah i first wondered that too but i guess they can monitor their internet load and if you get spikes about a connection that they dont sell, its not hard to figure it out lol... everyone has 20mb/35/50 and i was topping at 800 so yah, that would ring some bells.
