Yes. Install 3.55 OFW FIRST....Then install the CFW.

which cfw would u put on my slim. geo or kemaw? and if kemaw do i need to put the lvl 2 patcher.

I used Geohot's because he's awesome. And DAH. You'll need the lvl 2 patcher. There is, however a new CFW for 3.55 that was released the other day. Feel free to check it out as well, if you haven't already. With this one, you don't need to install more shit to bypass for online play.

A question by a user...'i am running this from new now (get a new ps3, old one broke) do you need to install anything else with this ie any Lv2patches etc? blinds?

And sadly, that question went unanswered. I'm assuming it does. But I wouldn't want you using this CFW just to not be able to use it. It's on the third or fourth page of Exploits and Hacks, too. So I don't know...It bypasses ****psn, and Charles. ANNNDDD, it's patched. So it's awesome, and I believe it would. If you don't want to, then by all means, go with Geohot's.

thanks forsaken im going with psita psn access. i really dont care about the online thats what i have my fatty for. but maybe i will go online with this. will this also bypass 3.60.

ok i went with ps3ita and i have the folder install package files but when i go to my ftp from my memory stick it wont install says nothing there.

Try to quote me, so I can keep up with you.
You have to create a folder on your USB. Do these steps...
Step 1: plug in your USB device to your computer.
Step 2: Delete ANYTHING you may have on it.
Step 3: Click New Folder, and call it PS3
Step 4: Double click that folder, then click on New Folder again, and call it UPDATE
Step 5: Double click that folder, and then click on New Folder once again, and call this 3.55 CFW
Step 6: Click that little arrow that's pointing up to the bottom right of your Windows 7 screen, and then click your USB device, and select 'Safely Remove'....
