(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi everyone !!
Im trying to search it myself and correct the problem but im not getting anywhere. :embarrassed: I just got a 2TB Hitachi for 40 bucks Hurray, anyways I plugged it into the ps3 and its now reads in multiman Dev_usb091 instead of the normal dev_usb000 or 0006. I made this change in my options_default directory folder :

# Secondary search folders:
hdd_home2=/dev_hdd0/GAMEZ
hdd_home3=/dev_hdd0/game/OMAN46756/GAMEZ
hdd_home4=/dev_hdd0/game/LAUN12345/GAMEZ
hdd_home5=/dev_usb091/GAMEZ
usb_home2=/GAMEZ

Now I can play my backed up Games but I cant backup anything. Since it cant find my HDD... I'm i doing everything correct? What else can i do?

Try changing it to this:

# Secondary search folders:
hdd_home2=/dev_hdd0/GAMEZ
hdd_home3=/dev_hdd0/game/OMAN46756/GAMEZ
hdd_home4=/dev_hdd0/game/LAUN12345/GAMEZ
hdd_home5=/dev_usb5/GAMEZ
usb_home2=/GAMEZ

Use a filemanager and change the name of the folder from Dev_usb091 to dev_usb000 instead of changing the options ini and see if that works...

odd what is the format? are you doing ntfs or fat? if you started by using ntfs that MAY have something to do with it also one of my friends had an issue with a drive not reading at all though when he plugged it in first time using ntfs and then formatted to fat then back to ntfs and it worked also what version and backup manager are you using?

try updating also to the latest multiman 16.0.9

You must login or register to view this content.

try updating it from usb by deleting the old install first. It may make your usb read correctly.
