Post: About 3.60 signing homebrews

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So i have a question. Why can't we sign PKG for 3.60???
Is it the exact same reason why we can't make a CFW 3.60??
I heard we have the key for 3.60 but can't get a CFW working, what about a 3.6 homebrew though?
DataTransfer allows you to copy homebrew over to 3.60 but they don't work.

Ima add this question to my FAQ, we can't sign or decrypt any thing on the 3.60 because it has security holes patched, so we cant just dump keys any more, and private keys are generated with a random ecdsa code

You need the private key, this cannot be found anywhere in the firmware or on the PS3, this is secret and it would only be in possession of sony.

The >3.55 ones were found by an exploit which is now fixed.
