(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have a bricked PS3 and a buddy of mine has a working PS3 that is the same model as mine. Does anyone know if there is any way we can use his PS3 to un-brick mine without doing anything with the motherboard and Without A Risk Of Bricking His PS3? any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

If he's on 3.41 firmware or lower there's an extremely easy way to fix it and he doesn't need your PS3 at all.

Just reply back if he is and you want the tutorial..

My PS3 is in service mode and we want to get it out of service mode and get it restored so I don't have to buy a new one or have to spend the money to have sony restore it. I think His PS3 is on sonys new firmware. If anyone can help us get it out of service mode and restored it would help and be appreciated. I hope this gives better info on the situation for people to help.
Thanks

If he's on sony's newest firmware ( which is 3.60 ) then he really can't do anything.. There's no currently known ways to get out of service mode on that firmware version.
