I thinks its gonna be of more interest to people on here than in the other section.
I was having a browse for an app that let me use my iPhone as a PS3 keyboard... and I found one!
Webe++ is a bluetooth app that syncs with your Ps3. It lets you use the d-pad directional buttons, triangle circle X square, start and select. Plus a full qwerty keyboard.
You can also use the blank part of the screen to swipe left right up and down if you prefer.
It works flawlessly and I'm very impressed with it.
It's $5 from BigBoss (through Cydia) - although, I'm sure other repositories have it too
No more clunky IR keyboard, and no need for me to buy the Keyboard attachment
If you're looking for something like this then go get it. I give it a full 10/10.

It also works with most BT compatible devices, ie. Laptops
For you androiders I think there is an app called blueputdroid that does the same thing.

I just saw that but to connect to ps3 you need the one from cydia that is Webe++. the one on the app store is just Webe. I know its stupid but thats life.

Also to everybody ps3 buttons were just added in 1.1 update. It doesn't work on ps3 if it is 1.0(the cracked one) If you look at my comment above about Webe and Webe++ you will see. Basically there is no way to get it free because it isnt cracked. Sorry guys looks like its $5 or wait as of right now. Let me know if anybody finds anything else. Please +Rep if this helped I'm kinda - lol.

I downloaded this and installed it using ifile but it doesn't work. It crashes on start up and I rebooted and respringed before I launched it. I'm on 4.2.1 on my iPhone 3gs

Most of us in the same boat dude, some have got the cracked version working but most havent.
I suggest waiting for a bug free cracked version, that way, the devs get a bit of money as well.
Or if you're too desperate, just buy the damn thing, costs less than keyboard I guess
