What I did was I use Comgenie's Awesome FileManager for me to copy the files from dev_hdd0/GAMES/MRTC-00001/USRDIR/
[which are aska00001.bin and srpx directory except the eboot file] <--this is where my game was backed up into dev_hdd0/game/MRTC00001/USRDIR/ (actually the game ID is MRTC00001).
So do you mean that I have to copy also the:
dev_hdd0/GAMES/MRTC-00001/TROPHDIR/
or in short, the files under /MRTC-00001/
into
dev_hdd0/game/MRTC00001/ except the eboot.bin?
AND do I have to delete the eboot.bin inside the dev_hdd0/game/MRTC00001/USRDIR/ BEFORE I've installed the modded PKG? So that means I'm doing the wrong method? :banhamma:
I'm very sorry I asked too many questions at once

I'm so frustrated I cant get this to work for 3 days of trying and trying...
If the readme says "dev_hdd0/game/STAR00001/USRDIR/" then that it is. The eboot, which runs your game is modified to look into that folder. So if you do "dev_hdd0/game/STAR99999/USRDIR/" it doesnt work cause the eboot looks into "dev_hdd0/game/STAR00001/USRDIR/".
So make the folders: dev_hdd0/game/STAR00001/ with comgenie. Now copy your game's folders into that so it becomes:
dev_hdd0/game/STAR00001/USRDIR/
dev_hdd0/game/STAR00001/USRDIR/EBOOT.BIN
dev_hdd0/game/STAR00001/TROPHDIR/
dev_hdd0/game/STAR00001/ICON0.PNG
etc etc etc. After thats done, go into the star00001/usrdir folder. Remove the eboot.bin that is there.
Now close comgenie and install the PKG file you have.
If you start comgenie after installing the pkg again and go to the usrdir folder, you should notice that there is a new EBOOT file. And that is how it should be.
Here a little explenation on how the eboot works;
The eboot excists in any game, application etc.
The eboot defines the path's where the ps3 system should look for certain files it needs. the eboot normally looks for dev_bdvd0, which is your bluray drive. However the pkg method and modified eboot(which you have as a.pkg file) is modified to look on your harddrive. so dev_bdvd0 becomes dev_hdd0. If the readme is saying "make folder dev_hdd0/games/blus00001/ then do that. You are making the same mistake i did in the start. Forget about what folder you downloaded, that doesnt matter with this method. Since you are using Geo's cfw, i might suggest you start using other cfw's which doesnt require to install modified eboots. kmeaw for example or whatever its called.
I hope you can understand what im trying to say. Sorry for any typo's (Dutch) and let me know if you got it working.
