lol so wat firmware are u on now your not making any sense,if your been asked to update to 3.60 you must be still on a lower firmware or if your hd is corrupted im guessing you cant use your ps3 until you update so what have you got to lose if you dont update you wont be able to play online anyway lol

I dont think youd get banned if its just the HDD as firmwares arent stored on it. Modded patches will run through unless you update them but 3.60 will render your homebrew useless anyway. The only problem your going to run into is if you dont have the original factory HDD currently installed when you go to update to 3.60.

They say if your using a different HDD in your PS3 and you update to 3.60 it wont allow it unless you have the original factor hard drive installed first. Then you can change it after the update. Dont ask me why its Sony being dicks again.

Well just install kmeaw 3.55 cfw on other hd and enjoy free gaming offline untill theres a new spoofer or fix for online gaming on 3.60,If you want to go legit make sure the other hardrive is updated on 3.55ofw then update to 3.60ofw via internet option at xmb.You will not get banned but you will lose all hombrew etc
