Should i keep my PS3 on firmware 3.41 or update it to 3.55-JB? I want to know what the pros and cons are of each. The only reason i bring this up is because i cant play Black Ops on my 3.41 Firmware PS3 in order to download the patch and hack the game.

Dev tools and payloads from Graf and other devs that allow reversing.
Cons
No one really makes a whole lot for it.
Pros 3.55
100 % ideal for an end cfw user
Cons 3.55 not as many payloads. Doing dev work should be on 3.41. Just because you can use external payloads.

3.41 PROS:

- MANY homebrew apps
-Switch payloads via dongle
-Downgrading
-Backups easily

3.41 CONS

-Jailbreak every boot
-no Linux
-Most apps for 3.55


3.55 PROS

-MANY Homebrew apps
-Linux
-Permanent jailbreak ( Until Update )
-3.55 details added
-MANY MORE

-Slower switching between payloads
-I can't really think of anything much more as 3.55 has LOTS :p

But uhm 3.55 is better all around for performance, and as previously said it's more for DEV's wanting to experiment
