Upgrade that hard drive! Yes. It will fit. A simple PS3 hard drive can be replaced with a computers hard drive.

***Wait...why the **** would you want to put a 60 gig HD in your PS3?
(question answered) I didn't fully read your topic, but yeah I see it now. IN CASE YOU BRICK.

So yessir. It'll work. Or just go buy a refurbished console from Gamestop for about $150. That option is always available. :carling:

If it's a 2.5" SATA and you can

If it fits its a 2.5, it might if the HDD has a sticker on it like the ps3 ones you can check to see if some stuff is similar. Yor PS3 should be fine, I don't see how/why it would brick, as bricking is usually from the NOR/NAND chip Smile

Okay umm if i just stick it straight into my ps3 after directly taking it out of the laptop, not dumped will it brick me?

spent 60 bucks get a 500gig you hace to install ur firmware again the one you had on before u changed hdd
