I know that you can't authenticate DLC with CFW since you can't sign on to PSN. I was hoping that it might be possible to somehow transfer DLC from an OFW system to a CFW system.

I was thinking that maybe moving the hard drive(with the DLC on it) from the OFW system to the CFW system might work. Would this work? If not, is there any alternative method?

No, because you would have to data transfer from 3.60 to 3.55 which can not be done.

So what would happen if you physically moved the harddrive? The CFW would force a reformat of the HD? The DLC just wouldn't work?

DLC will not work as it has to be activated on the cfw ps3.

You can install the pkg's but wont be able to use them as they're unactivated. I activated all mine when ps3ita was out but it's patched now.

So even if I downloaded, installed, and activated on the OFW it still wouldn't work because it wasn't activated on the CFW system? That's more than a little annoying.

Well thanks for the help. I guess I'll keep a close eye on the homebrew scene and try and get as much of my DLC as I can next time CFW can get on PSN.
