(P.S I know that you COULD OF Spoofed it but as far as I know they patched it?)

ok ****psn and charles, etc or what ever proxy tol you use wil not work anymore. Sony changed their login pass-phrase. That was a code on all PS3's that was the same, and I seriously don't get the point in it. When sent, it was referred to as the X-I-5 Passphrase.

With 3.60, they decided to change it. The only way to get it, would be to decrypt the connection on the ps3 via a main-in-the-middle attack (don't ask i can not do it).,

So until we have the new login info for sony servers, you are offline. I recommend not trying to spoof login, as they WILL flag you for banning.

Only thing to do is use 2 PS3's.

I do. I enjoy playing the newest games.. Online is not that important to me.. But just in case i have a Second Phat PS3 with OFW 3.60..

Since you know more than the average person in these forums, what do you think are the chances are of us ever getting back online on 3.55?

FukPSN along with all the other bypass methods got patched awhile ago.

And @OP You're most likely better off just updating your 3.55 CFW to 3.60 if you really want to play black ops. There are no current ways of getting 3.55 online and probably never will be, there was only 2 ways it was possible which as already said got fixed.

Actually your partly wrong. those 2 ways were actually just 1 way using 2 different programs.

Oh and unless we can get sony's new login info, it is not happening.

If you upgrade, thats your choice, but there will be NO going back. So you want full access to your console, or let sony control it in return for PSN.

Actually no lol... there was replacing cert's and spoofing your firmware.

Your half right. using charles and ****psn was a ddns spoof/ssl spoof with replacing the cert. There was the actually modified FW that had an altered vsh.self.

So its eith spoofing via connection, or having the ps3 think its a different version all together.

So does data transfering my 3.55 PS3 to my 3.60 PS3 Unban the 3.60 PS3 from Black Ops? P.S I can't check right now, I'm at school.
