i am on ps3 ofw 3.56 and i was wondering can i update from ofw 3.56 to cfw 3.60? i would really like to jailbreak my sons ps3 so i can back up games to my 2tb external hd.

so if you guys know if its possible and it would work can i update from ofw 3.56 to cfw 3.60? without bricking his ps3.

again sry if you have answered this before and thankyou for any help or info you can provide .

There is nothing like 3.60 CFW , you just need to wait and if a 3.60 CFW will be released this forum will be full of Tutorials on how to install. Stick to your 3.56 now, or if you wanna go online update to 3.60 OFW

i have been looking for ages for a 3.56jb so i can backup games to my ext storage so my son can play them but there just full of fake dead ends.

i will wait and see what the future brings and stick with my 3.56 ofw

Sorry man 3.60 does not have a custom firmware yet. Sorry oh and neither does 3.56.

I MADE A 3.60 cfw (sorry for getting ur hopes up, but im not releasing it, cuz...look at what happened last time :/. I might release it privately soon

i doubt u made 1 m8

u need 3.60 keys to make a 3.60 cfw

thats to make it installable on a 3.60 ps3 aswell
