First go on OFW 3.55, then install Rebug.

i cant install 3.55 ofw via xmb or recovery mode. can i install kmeaw over geohot, then go to rebug?

you can install rebug over any cfw, you shouldnt have a problem

by the way i tried reinstalling geohot but it had 3 beeps, signifying a fail

your ps3 beeps 4+ times if geohot installs correctly, 3 beeps means it failed. im already on geohot, but i accidentally started the 3.56 download when it first came out, and canceled it at like 20 percent, do you think that has anything to do with it.

no that should not have caused the problem you are having.

Try going to KMEAW or OFW again, make sure you have the files labled correctly too, get fresh DL's and fresh transfers to USB to confirm you are not corrupting anything.

I was making a n00b mistake and did not have the .pup labled correctly and sat around for 40 mins wondering why it kept saying no applicable update found on my USB :|

Just got to recovery mode.

Put in usb, and install. I did this yesterday with geohot.
