1. Jailbreak your ipod or iPhone with either blackra1n, redsn0w or pwnagetool. DO NOT USE SPIRIT!

2. From cydia download two things a)openSSH b)bootlace

3. Once you've downloaded both of them make sure they are at the latest versions.

4. Get winscp/cyberduck open and use an 'SSH' protocol to access the iPod/iPhone. The user and pass are:

user root
pass alpine

5. Once you are on go to the 'var' directory and then open the folder 'idroid' you will notice two files 1 being android.img.gz and the other being zImage. Copy both those files to your desktop and makesure you remember they are there so you can have openiboot back when you are done.

6. Copy your hacked files to the idroid folder - if you haven't already got them get them from here: You must login or register to view this content.

7. Now you have managed to get your files to your iPod/iphone turn it off and reload it there should be 'android' at the bottom scroll down to it using your power button and select it using the home button.

8. Let it load and when it gets to the menu fire it up with the home button then press the power button and then power button again to restart your iPod/iPhone.

9. Load up 'iOS' again so it is on the normal apple firmware.

10. Go to your ps3 and turn it off at the back then plug your ipod/iphone in using a usb cable. At this point you should turn your ipod/iphone off and turn your ps3 back on with the back button but DO NOT turn it on from the front.

11. Now turn on your iPod/iphone again and select the android button again using the home button. Once again let it load and once it comes to the menu scroll through all the firmwares with the power button until you get to the '1.1/ALL service.mode-JIG one and fire that up. As soon as it says for you to press the power and eject button do that and wait for it to finish.

12. If you have done this successfully your ps3 should be either turned off or booting up if it's turned off turn it on normally. When it boots there should be a red box in the bottom left corner of the screen saying 'service mode'

13. Turn off your ps3 again via your menu and then when its off plug in your USB to your PC/Mac and insert the following files into the ROOT of the usb:

Do the FIRST STEP files.

14. Plug your USB into the far right USB port in the ps3 and turn your ps3 back on normally. Now when your ps3 loads you will notice you are on 3.41 firmware but still in factory mode so go ahead and pull out your USB and plug it into your PC/Mac again and then delete both the files off your USB and copy your 'Second Step files' onto your USB.

15. Once again plug your USB back into the ps3 on the very last slot and turn your ps3 on normally again. After about 10 seconds your ps3 will power off. By this point you should pull out your usb. all you have to do is power it back on and it will load up like it did when you first got your ps3 - in factory mode - so now just input all your settings and then voila you've got yourself a downgraded ps3!
