Post: want to run pkg from Ex HDD

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i have lots of emulators etc installed to the ps3 int hdd,

but i want to remove them all, and just have multiman installed

so i was wondering if i extract the contents of a .pkg can i someway package it and put it into my GAMEZ folder on ex hdd to run off multiman...?

ie this is what Genisis-plus emu pkg looks like after i extract it...

You can tyr to boot a emulater off GAMEZ it might work, as well it might not be able to support for booting off of MultiMan. You can try, simply extract all the contents of the Emulater as you showed above and insert it in a external HDD. Try but I don't think it will work.

Not sure running any .pkg off external HDD. I would just keep it on my PS3, as they don't take up much room at all, most .pkg's only take up 100-500Kb but some are in the Mb such as emulaters and back up managers.

true, might be handier just leave them on ps3 and try to put the roms on hdd, its just i have a drop down menu in games xmb a mile long now :-0
