(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); okay so comgenies awesome file manager for example. i installed the package on 3.55 kmeaw and then went back to 3.55 ofw and it was still there and working despite obvious removal of install package and app home options. question is could we sign a package for 3.60 install on 3.55 cfw then revert to ofw and update to 3.60 where the package would work? it doesnt cause a brick when updating to 3.60 with homebrew still installed i tried on my spare ps3.... someone throw out any ideas on this

You can't sign it for 3.60 though, so not possible.

yes but thats because all the packages we currently have are unsigned or signed for 3.55, if someone could try with the 3.60 keys which arent public yet it may work

yah ik noone knows them and i have no clue where to even start looking but its just an idea for when theyre found. (i think there will be alot going on in the scene as soon as geohots case is over especially if he is found not guilty. i would think out of all the devs one of them has found it by now)

Even if they were found which makes your theory possible, your method used in the theory wouldn't be needed, it would be possible to create a custom firmware for 3.60 and add debug options including install package files, and possible to sign the .pkg files as official, so you would simply use install package files and a USB.

thats also very true. but the question is what new security measures did sony sneak into their new fw. can they detect cfw now? prob still only if ur playing backups. oh i remember what i thought abt earlier what abt manipulating a psn package. im sure its been thought of but whats your opinion?
